Valentine's Day

A reminder from last week.

Dear Parents,

       We have a project for you!  As a family, work together to create a box to put Valentines in at school.  Include your kindergartner in coming up with ideas and with decorating the box.  Please make sure your child’s name can be easily seen on the box, so the other children know which Valentine to put in which box.  Also, please make sure the opening is large enough to accommodate different sizes of valentines.

Our Valentine’s Day party will be Friday,

February 13^th.  Your child needs to bring Valentines for every student in our class.  A class list is printed on the back of this letter.  Please allow your child to write the names on the Valentines.  This will be a great opportunity to practice his/her writing skills.  Your child can bring his/her Valentines and box to school as soon as it is finished.  Please make sure the Valentines and box are at school no later than Wednesday, February 11^th!  The children will pass out their Valentines prior to the party.
