that time as students will be asked to escort their grandparents through the
building. Weather permitting, visitors may park in the open field west of
the school as parking around the building may become limited. Visitors
should enter using the K-4 office entrance or the 5-8 office entrance.
The two-story building will not be open during this event.
Events
of the Week:
This week we
continued our theme of All About Me. This week we focused on families. Our Shared Reading for the week was Families
are Different. We discussed the
importance of our families and discovered some similarities and differences
that we have. We realized that all families
are different and special. Our sight word for this week was “a”. This week we learned about the letters Rr and
Ss. Be sure to ask your child the sounds
they make and the words they wrote in their Reading Journals. In math, we continued to practice sorting and
even learned how to make graphs. Finally,
we continued with the Name Game. We’re learning more about our classmates
every day. What a fun way to make new
friends!
