Message From Mrs. Wallin

Dear Parents,

We have had a very successful first week of school.  It has been so refreshing to see students, both new and old, arrive with a sense of excitement and anticipation about the year ahead.   We have great things planned and feel privileged to embark on this “Journey to Awesome” with you!

By now you have received a packet of information and forms that need to be returned to the office.  Please be sure to complete all forms including the Free and Reduced Lunch Application.  If you complete all forms and return them to the office by August 19^th, your child will be entered into a drawing for a host of gift cards and other prizes!

I also wanted to make everyone aware of a scheduled Parent Volunteer training on September 2^nd at 2:00 in the Clever Conference Center.  This training, along with a background screening (approximate cost $50) is required for all of our parent volunteers who assist in our buildings throughout the school year.  If you have any available time in your schedule and would like to support our school in this way, we would love to have you join us.  We can use help in classrooms with various activities, scheduled events, cafeteria, circle drive, laminating, etc.  If you are willing, we can certainly utilize your help!  Please RSVP to Ms. Joetta by September 1^st if you are planning to attend this training.
